Sri Raja Rajeshwari Siddhar Peetam ("Siddhar" in Tamil language means enlightened souls. "Peetam" means seat or throne. Thus Siddhar Peetam means The Throne of Enlightened Souls or Great Spiritual Masters/Gurus) was founded by Sri Ragu Rama Adigalar popularly known as Sri Balakan Amma.

Balakan Amma offers 'Arulvaaku' (Ambaal's speech through Balakan Amma) at the Siddhar Peetam by the blessings of Sri Vana Durga. This place is found to have significant spiritual powers. Under the guidance of Amma, a charitable trust has been formed to provide free education to the poor and destitute, to feed the hungry and to build houses and shelter for the orphans and poor in the area. It is situated at Pelakuppam near Tindivanam in Tamil Nadu, India.  

Purpose

The purpose of this charitable organization is to bring God's message to the world and serve humanity through the work of Amma and the devotees. Amma, is the guiding Light and Spiritual Force behind the organization. He teaches that the greatest form of worship is service to humanity and that we can all serve God together without strife. The organization undertakes many charitable and educational activities through the Trust and urges its devotees to take an active role in helping people in the development of community. Amma himself sets an example by his contribution of his life to unconditionally serve society.
